We're growing!

There has never been a better time to get involved with Scouting. Last year, The Scout Association recorded its biggest growth spurt since 1972, with 16,568 new adult and youth members joining, taking the total UK membership to over 525,580. Following the seventh consecutive year of growth, Scouting has become the largest co-educational youth movement in the country.

Fun and adventure for adults too...

Of course, Scouting would not exist without the skills and enthusiasm of thousands of adult helpers and supporters.  There are countless opportunities for adults to get involved, within our Group or across the wider district – and this doesn’t just mean being a Leader or Section Helper – there are many non-uniformed roles for people who want to be involved, but do not necessarily want to be on the ‘front line’.  Put simply, our Group would cease to function without the hard work and dedication of these people!
