Christmas Tree Sale 2011 11/12/2011
4th Ewell will again be selling Christmas Trees over the first two weekends of December from our HQ on Bluegates, London Road, Ewell, KT17 2SA. For full details of this year's sale, please see our dedicated website, www.xmastrees.org.uk. Add Comment It's that time again! We're collecting both Sainsbury's Active Kids and Tesco Schools and Clubs vouchers. You'll find our collection boxes in the entrance hall at the HQ. Please remember that we're quite a small charity compared to most schools so please consider donating your vouchers to us rather than your local school. Most schools tend to get more vouchers than they know what to do with, whereas we can make good use of each and every voucher. To help boost numbers we'd also be most grateful if you could ask your friends and relatives to help collecting for us too. Last year we broke all previous records and collected over 6,500 Active Kids Vouchers and over 2,000 Tesco Vouchers. This year, we're looking to smash that record once again. It meant that we were able to acquire a range of new equipment which has been used by every member of the Group over the past year. This included new cooking equipment, hockey sticks, balls, a tent and blindfold goggles - equipment that would have cost us hundreds of pounds if we were to purchase it all. Your donations of vouchers really do make a big difference at 4th Ewell. Do you have any ideas for how we can collect even more vouchers? Maybe you could help by putting a collection box in your place of work? If you have any ideas for ways you could help or have any queries about this year's collection please get in touch. Christmas Tree Sale 11/09/2010
4th Ewell (Nonsuch) Scout Group is pleased to announce that it will again be selling Christmas Trees over the first two weekends in December. Due to the overwhelming interest in 2009 we will have twice as much stock and we will also be offering Mistletoe for sale and delivery of your tree for a moderate fee. The funds raised from our efforts last year helped the Group to invest in a new marquee and mess tent to support camping activities with every section. In 2010, it’s likely that much of the proceeds will go towards improving the Group minibuses, assets which are vital to each section and many other Groups in local area. The sales will be taking place on Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December. We strongly advise that though interested in buying a Christmas Tree or Mistletoe pay us a visit early to avoid any disappointment. This year, the organisers of the sale have teamed up with Halfords and for every tree purchase a discount voucher will available which you use against any purchase leading up to Christmas. If you would like to support our fund raising efforts or can help this activity in any way, please do not hesitate to make contact via email at info@xmastrees.org.uk For more information about our sale please see www.xmastrees.org.uk. 4th Ewell (Nonsuch) Scout Group have access to a number of white marquees, tents and gazebos suitable for parties of all sizes.
